20th FEG ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING AND EUROPEAN TOURIST GUIDE MEETING
A MESSAGE FROM OUR GREEK HOST, THE PANHELLENIC TOURIST GUIDE FEDERATION:
Dear tourist guides and FEG member delegates,
It is a pleasure to invite you to the 20th FEG European Tourist Guide Meeting and AGM to be held in November 2018 in Heraklion, Crete island, Greece.
Our organising committee of the Panhellenic Tourist Guide Federation and particularly the colleagues of the Professional Tourist Guide Association of Crete & Thera have been planning for this event. A great number of volunteers is also contributing to make your stay and visit a memorable one. We are putting together a programme which includes many of the social and cultural highlights that Crete island has to offer to you all. Our FEG accredited trainers will be ready once again to facilitate more FEG seminars for tourist guides' life-long training in the Cretan venue. In addition, we make any possible effort to have many sponsors who will help us to keep costs down for you. The facility of the FEG meeting website which was developed by Sebastian Frankenberger and myself for the 2017 Dublin FEG AGM will be of great help for you and the organisers again this year for our next Crete FEG Meeting 2018. To all those who have helped or will help to put this event together I am sending my huge thanks. We all look forward to meeting you and showing you some of the highlights of Crete island in our pre-meeting and in the main programme, as well as part of the Greek mainland on our post-meeting tour.
